| A 1982 TV movie staring Michael Landon about journalist John Everingham’s daring rescue of his Laotian girlfriend. This is one of those terrible tape to DVD transfers, so I was expecting and equally terrible movie. It actually wasn’t bad other than Michael Landon’s freaky hair. It didn’t hurt that the beautiful Moira Chen played the Laotian girlfriend. Never heard of her, but she sure seamed familiar then it struck me - she has got to be the same girl from those Z-channel Emmanuel movies. Sure enough it was Laura Gemser the director forced her to use a pseudonym because of her erotic past. |
