Sex and the City 5 continued

Finished off this micro season tonight. Still can’t get enough of that enchanting Charlotte, despite the fact she’s f-ing a hedgehog. The special on the costumes was interesting, but I still think some of Carrie’s outfits are picked out by some blind homeless man picking through the dumpster behind Bloomingdales.

One Hour Photo

This was not you’re usual Robin Williams affair. Very well done and creepy. Makes you think twice about that friendly face behind the counter. One unHollywood thing about the movie was the nudity, not that there was some or that it was brief, just that it had a high sausage to sushi ratio. I guess its about time the ladies got some equal time in the cheap thrills department.

Axeman

A group of bad guys were holding some people captive. I was part of the good guy group trying to free them. I don’t know what/who either group represented. The good group were civilians. One or two others plus myself found the hiding place and waited for some of the bad guys to leave. After seeing them leave we climbed up a fire escape to the second or third story and entered through a window. We didn’t have guns, in fact I don’t recall having any weapons at all when we were scaling the fire escape, however per the dream world I managed to have an axe upon entering the room. I quickly dispatched the few bad guys in the room and we proceded to lead the hostages down the interior staircase. Suddenly the two main bad guys returned via a back staircase. Again wielding my trusty axe I proceeded in my axe-o-matic routine. These two were quickly disarmed (I should say disgunned), however unlike the other bad guys they seems somewhat unaffected by the deep gashes I was bestowing upon them. They weren’t returning any damage, they just wouldn’t die. It was just a matter of time before they were completely chopped up and undeniably dead but I woke up before that became a reality. BTW I didn’t know any of the characters in this dream, with the exception of the two main bad guys, their faces were people that I knew/know however those people were not the bad guys personas. (Can’t remember just who owns those faces though)

Sex and the City 5

What is the deal with 8 episodes being the whole season. Only 2 DVDs and they still want $40.00? Oh well what’s an addict to do?

Funniest thing in the first 6 shows is when Miranda’s baby is on the bed and his belly button jerky piece falls off. She is a little freaked by this, but not as freaked as she gets when her cat jumps on the bed and snatches the BB jerky and runs off. She goes nuts and calls Steve to rescue the jerky from the cat.

Retraining is in order?

Tuesday means new DVD release day, I managed to stop by Fry’s after work to pick up American Wedding and maybe S.W.A.T. if they were on sale, otherwise I’d get them at Costco which was my next stop. Anyway they didn’t have American Wedding, but they did have Sex and the City 5 on sale (which I’d forgotten came out this week as well. I also picked up S.W.A.T. and “A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum”.

I go get inline and wait my turn to be told which of the 40 registers to go to. Now this is some tough job – standing on an elevated platform and watching registers to become available and relay that info to the next customer in line. I guess the woman working today didn’t quite get the jist of the job on training day. She sends the guy in front of me to number 9 then right after him sends me to number 10. As I walk down the aisle I notice that there are no lights on at 9 or 10 which is odd as they have these poles with a red or green flashing light to let everyone, including the line coordinating engineer, know the status of that register. I’m a couple paces behind when he reaches number 9 and I hear the woman at number 10 (no one is at 9) say why is she sending me customers I’m not even open. Then I show up. Number 10 girl takes care of him and she has number 12 woman take me next. Not a problem for me or the guy in front of me, but what exactly was that “line commander” thinking? Did she sleep through her training, does she think she is supposed to avoid registers with lights on? I just wonder. We must be getting past full employment in our area.

Off to Costco after a quick stop at PetSmart for 50 pounds (2 weeks worth) of cat litter {we have 1 cat.} The parking lot was just packed it was getting toward 6pm and I had thoughts of skipping it, but decided not to wimp out. Got in and figured the lines would be horrible, but they were surprisingly short, I wonder where all the people were. I found them all packed around the free food tables strategically placed across one aisle from each other, causing one hell of a bottleneck. I’m trying to get through but the “nice polite” lady infront parks right in the only opening between the two while talking on her cell phone to get a sample. After deciding against driving her against the Eggo freezer door and then repeatly pummeling her with my cart, I waited for an opening and got the hell away from this feeding frenzy. A quick stop by the DVD section reveals no American Wedding or anything else of interest, I wonder if terrorists have blown up the delivery truck with the AW DVDS, nah I would have heard about that on KFI. The line was short and I got out at under $100 a small miracle.

No Mas Bougainvilla

Well I’ve finally gotten to digging out the stump of the Bougainvilla. I worked on that for a few months doing a little at a time and filling up a Spag napkin box of trimmings each week.
